Join the Habitat Real Estate Team - Part-Time Accounts & Administration Superstar

At Habitat Real Estate, we're looking for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, loves a good spreadsheet, and genuinely enjoys being part of a supportive team.

We're searching for an experienced Accounts & Administration professional to join us in a flexible part-time role. While real estate experience would be fantastic, it's certainly not essential—we're open to applicants from a variety of industries who bring the right skills, attitude, and personality.

This role could be perfect if you're returning to the workforce after maternity leave or looking for better work-life balance, or simply wanting a flexible role where you can make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:

No two days are exactly the same, but your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day accounts and trust accounting
Working with Xero
Preparing reports and tracking KPIs
Analysing business data to help improve performance
Assisting the Director with administration and business support
Supporting our Property Management team when needed
Answering phones and helping create a great client experience
Assisting with HR administration
Managing our company vehicle fleet and insurance
Pitching in wherever needed—including the occasional visit to a property if required

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

At least 5 years' experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
Confidence using Xero (or similar accounting software)
The ability to analyse numbers and provide meaningful insights
Excellent communication skills
A positive, team-first attitude
Flexibility and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed

You'll also need to be available to work from our office at least two days each week, as being part of the team is important to us.
