Overview
The Head of CRM is the technical and operational leader of Dabble's global Customer Engagement function. Responsible for translating customer engagement strategy into high-quality campaigns, customer journeys and scalable CRM solutions, this role sets the standard for execution, quality assurance and technical excellence across Australia, the UK and the US.
This isn't simply about running campaigns. We're looking for someone who can push what's possible across Braze, customer data and our broader MarTech ecosystem. You'll be comfortable getting into the detail, troubleshooting complex problems and working with Data, Product and Marketing teams to turn requirements into clear technical solutions.
With significant growth ahead across our markets, the next 12+ months will be a major period of evolution for the function. You'll lead a team of Customer Engagement Managers through that growth while building the technical foundations and scalable lifecycle programs required to support it.
With the recent launch of Dabble Casino in the UK, this is an exciting time to join and help shape how we engage customers across an expanding product and market footprint.
This is your opportunity to help build the customer engagement capability that will power Dabble's ambition to scale to 30 markets by 2030. You'll shape the technical foundations, elevate our global Braze capability and deliver customer experiences at scale.
Primary Location
This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney may be preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of Customer Engagement Managers across multiple markets.
Own the technical direction of Dabble's CRM and customer engagement capability across Braze, customer data, integrations and the broader MarTech ecosystem.
Execute customer engagement strategy through sophisticated Braze campaigns and lifecycle journeys across Email, Push, SMS and In-App Messaging.
Act as the technical authority for Braze, continually pushing the platform's capabilities and identifying new functionality, integrations and use cases.
Partner with Data and Technology teams on complex data integrations, migrations, event tracking and customer data architecture.
Translate business and customer engagement requirements into clear technical solutions and executable tasks.
Act as a senior escalation point for troubleshooting complex CRM, campaign, integration and customer data issues.
Establish QA processes, testing standards and governance to ensure consistently high-quality campaign execution.
Drive continuous improvement through campaign performance analysis, experimentation and reusable CRM frameworks.
Coach and mentor the team, setting clear direction and embedding technical excellence and best practice across the function.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on Braze experience is highly regarded. Candidates with deep technical CRM/MarTech experience across comparable modern platforms will also be considered.
Proven experience leading or technically overseeing a Customer Engagement, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing or MarTech team.
Strong technical understanding of CRM data, integrations, platform architecture and the broader MarTech ecosystem.
Experience managing or playing a key role in complex customer data migrations, integrations or major CRM technology changes.
Experience building sophisticated automated customer journeys across multiple channels.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across CRM, campaign and customer data challenges.
Ability to translate strategic and business requirements into clear technical solutions and actionable work.
Demonstrated success coaching and developing high-performing teams while providing clear technical and strategic direction.
Experience working in regulated industries, technology, telecommunications, entertainment, gaming or other fast-paced digital consumer businesses is highly regarded.
Strong campaign analysis skills, with the ability to identify what's working, what isn't and what to do next. Experience with tools such as Amplitude or AWS Quick Suite is advantageous.

Remuneration
The advertised salary for this position is $180,000 - $190,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
