Full Job Description

About the role

Marina Radiology is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Radiology Bookings Clerk to join our dynamic Customer Contact Centre team in Berwick, Victoria. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the smooth running of our medical imaging services. All patient communication will be done via telephone or the internet.

What you'll be doing

Efficiently managing patient bookings and enquiries for a range of radiology services (e.g. CT, MRI, X-ray and Ultrasound)
Providing exceptional customer service to both patients and healthcare providers
Maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling information
Coordinating with our radiology teams to ensure timely and seamless appointment scheduling
Assisting with other administrative tasks as required to support the overall operations of the Customer Contact Centre

The role will require you to work a rotating 38 hour roster between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday (overtime rates apply).

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and schedules
Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including scheduling and booking systems
A caring and empathetic approach to working with patients
A team player attitude and willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the Customer Contact Centre
