About the opportunity
Nestled along the pristine shores of Port Stephens, The Anchorage Hotel & Spa is a destination of laid-back luxury. With its relaxed coastal charm, elegant design, and warm hospitality, it’s where guests come to unwind, indulge, and reconnect – from soothing treatments at Spa Lucca, to fine dining at The Galley Kitchen, and unforgettable seaside adventures.
We’re looking for a suitably qualified Casual Spa Therapist to join our welcoming Spa Lucca team. As a spa therapist you will provide a quality, personal, warm, and friendly service.
What you will be doing
- Living and breathing exceptional customer service standards. You know your clients by their first name, and you take pleasure in going above and beyond to ensure they have everything they need
- Calming the busy minds of our clients via relaxation massage techniques to restore balance
- Understanding our products and their ingredients to confidently recommend and prescribe these to your clients
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of treatment rooms and spa facilities
- Assisting with reception and guest coordination where required
- Following workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Understanding the importance of immaculate grooming and presentation in your work environment.
About you
You are a team player who thrives on providing our guests with exceptional service. You will have a passion for the wellness industry, have high grooming standards, and will pride yourself on giving our guests the 5-star luxury experience they have come to expect. Along with a strong work ethic, you will take pride in following processes and doing your job well, as well as being eager to expand your knowledge and learn new techniques.

- Are available to work weekends, with some weekday availability
You will need:
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and/or Beauty Therapy
- A current First Aid and CPR certification
- Diploma of Remedial Massage is also advantageous but not essential
All candidates progressing to the next stage of recruitment will complete relevant checks, including a criminal history check, reference checks, and right-to-work verification – all facilitated by The Wests Group.
