Chef Manager

The Metropolitan Hospitality Group – Bentley Tafe

Are you a skilled cook with strong leadership abilities? We're looking for a Chef Manager to lead our hospitality operations at our café at Rockingham Tafe. If you’re passionate about food, team leadership, and efficient kitchen management – we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

As the Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our kitchen and catering operations. This includes:

Food preparation and cooking
Managing rosters and staff
Placing and managing orders
Coordinating catering services
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Leading a small, dedicated team to deliver high-quality service

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
Proven leadership and management skills
A methodical, organised approach to work
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
