Join The Joint Physiotherapy – Receptionist (Part-Time/Casual)

Location: Caulfield, Melbourne
Job Type: Casual OR Part time
Availability: Mix of Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri all half days and holiday cover

The Joint Physiotherapy is a highly regarded Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy practice known for our warm, hands-on approach in delivering top-notch care to our patients. With a commitment to health and well-being, we are proud of the close relationships we build with our clients.

We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and exceptional customer service skills. While prior experience in the medical or allied health sector is advantageous, the right attitude and personality to fit within our team culture is our highest priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling phone inquiries
Process customer billing (Medicare, private health insurance) and manage client invoicing
Reconcile payments and follow up on outstanding accounts
Provide administrative support to practitioners and address any immediate needs
Maintain smooth communication between patients and practitioners
Ensure the office runs efficiently, managing scheduling and patient records with accuracy

About You:

Previous experience in a medical, allied health, or similar environment preferred
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in managing booking systems and invoicing
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
A passion for health, wellness, and a willingness to learn
