About the Role
As the Breeding Program Administrator based in Coffs Harbour, you’ll play a critical role in managing the administrative backbone of our global genetics program.
You’ll coordinate Plant Breeders’ Rights (PBR) activities across multiple countries, manage licensing and royalty tracking, and ensure our plant assets are accurately documented and protected as they move from trial to commercialisation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on structure, precision, and working across complex, fast-moving priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and track PBR applications, renewals, and compliance requirements globally

Support management of global licensing agreements and royalty reporting

Maintain accurate records of plant varieties, trial data, and IP-related documentation

Manage databases tracking plant assets from breeding pipeline through to commercialisation

Liaise with legal advisors, in-country agents, and internal teams to keep projects on track

Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of critical regulatory documentation
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation of SOPs
To be successful in this role, is is essential that you meet the following criteria;

Strong administrative and data management capability

Advanced Excel and confidence working across databases and systems
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders
It would also be beneficial if the following apply to you, although this is not essential;

Exposure to compliance, legal, or regulatory environments

Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or plant breeding programs

Understanding of IP, PBR, or licensing frameworks

Be part of a globally connected business working across multiple countries
