Position Title: Scrub/Scout Nurse

Reporting To: Perioperative Services Manager

Terms: Part Time/Full Time/Casual

Remuneration: EBA Wyvern Private Hospital

1. POSITION SUMMARY

Are you a Scrub/Scout Nurse looking for wonderful working environment where you're valued? Then
look no further! Join us as a Registered or Enrolled Scrub/Scout Nurse at the new Wyvern Private

You'll love Wyvern: a state-of-the-art new facility with a beautiful bush backdrop in Terrey Hills.
Light and bright, modern and well-equipped.
We provide amazing experiences for nurses aspiring to gain further experience in our areas of
spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, pain
management, ENT, plastics both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
We are looking to offer Permanent Part Time, Full Time or Casual contracts to the right candidates.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & SKILLS

A genuine passion to work within the operating Theatre

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

The ability to stay calm under pressure

A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills

Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs

Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

A genuine commitment to providing compassionate care that aligns with Wyvern Private

Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy

3. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse,

Division 1 (AHPRA)

Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Scrub/Scout

Valid Working with Children Check

National Police Check

100-point ID check

Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)

Proof of vaccinations

Blood Safe e learning
