About the Opportunity
The role of the Senior Physiotherapist is to deliver advanced Physiotherapy assessments and interventions as part of the multidisciplinary allied health team.
The physiotherapy team provides the assessment and intervention in the community through clinic and home based as well as through group programs. This position is required to work collaboratively with the other senior physiotherapists within the team to ensure the effective and co-ordinated service provision across all geographical sites and services, including the supervision of Level 1-2 physiotherapists and allied health assistants
In this role you will:
- Provide a high quality service to patients with a broad range of acute ,chronic and age related conditions across CCLHD in community and home-based settings.
- Conduct client assessments utilising a comprehensive, multidimensional assessment tool and standardised outcome measures.
- Plan appropriate treatment intervention and provide care to a high standard of skill and efficiency to ensure that clients (as appropriate) have comprehensive management plans which complement other services and achieve maximum potential for each client.
Provide education to clients and carers in the management of the disability in order to facilitate the continuing care of the client in the home.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA and a current NSW drivers licence.
- Extensive clinical experience in delivering advanced Physiotherapy services to clients experiencing a broad range of chronic illness.
- Proven effective caseload management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated high level of broad and diverse assessment, intervention and group work skills, integrating client self-management strategies into clinical practice.
Demonstrated experience in team management including service evaluation, supervision and training of physiotherapy and allied health assistant staff and students, and demonstrated ability to maintain a cohesive team.
