At Residenz, we help older Australians remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our Home Maintenance Specialists play a vital role in supporting that independence.
For many clients, your visit is more than maintenance. It’s reliability, trust, and connection.
The role:
Helping elderly people stay independent in their own homes in the Newcastle and Medowie area .
The duties that you will be completing include:
- Lawn mowing & gardening
- Pressure washing
- Window cleaning
- General home maintenance
- Minor handyman tasks (desirable but not essential)
You’ll work with regular clients, building rapport and trust.
The role is a perfect fit for you if you:

- Have gardening and handyman experience
- Are well organised and punctual
- Have a current Australian Driver's License and their own vehicle
- Have a current police check (or willing to obtain)
- Have a current NDIS check (or willing to obtain)
- Have a vehicle with a tow ball.
