About the Role
Leading and managing the Surgical Service, providing contemporary comprehensive best practice specialist services for optimal patient outcomes. This includes leadership that optimises multidisciplinary and inter-departmental cooperation, to efficiently and effectively allocate and manage resources for best patient care.
Providing and supporting training to clinicians across relevant disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice. This includes a lead role in accreditation of training programs, and in supporting the wellbeing of doctors in training.
The role consists of 16 hours per week Head of Department - Surgical Services, and 24 hours per week Clinical
