Join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst
Are you passionate about delivering quality technology outcomes and ensuring systems are implemented successfully?
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Council's ERP strategy by coordinating quality assurance and change management activities that help deliver reliable, effective and low-risk technology solutions. Working closely with project teams, subject matter experts and business stakeholders, you will help ensure system enhancements, upgrades and implementations are appropriately assessed, tested, approved and delivered in a controlled and auditable manner.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Council's digital transformation initiatives while helping to improve business processes, system performance and service delivery outcomes across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating quality assurance activities across ERP systems, enhancements and technology projects.
- Managing Information Management change processes in accordance with ITIL principles and industry best practice.
- Developing and maintaining quality assurance processes, standards and performance measures.
- Planning and facilitating testing activities, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing and release assurance.
- Collaborating with business analysts, system owners and subject matter experts to validate system functionality and data quality.
- Monitoring defects, verifying fixes and reporting on testing outcomes and release readiness.
- Supporting the successful delivery of ERP and Information Management initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Maintaining documentation and records to support governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Change Management within an ITIL-aligned environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting software testing, system implementations or enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
- Experience preparing documentation, specifications, reports and process materials.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships and work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Experience working with ERP systems, particularly TechnologyOne, will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- ITIL Foundation certification and ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification will be highly regarded but are not essential.
