Northern Star Resources has exciting opportunities for both a Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst to join our team at the Subiaco Corporate Office on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Finanace Planning Superintendent and Senior Planning Analyst respectively, these roles support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, reporting and business planning activities across Northern Star's Group. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will contribute to planning improvements, deliver meaningful business insights, and support the ongoing implementation, optimisation and adoption of Anaplan.
Here is what awaits you.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning activities across Northern Star's operations.
- Provide dedicated support for budgeting and forecasting processes for sites including training along with being point of contact Anaplan knowledge and support
- Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis and decision-making.
- Analyse operational and financial performance, providing insights into key business drivers and budget variances.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis,board reports and presentations to executive and board.
- Collaborate with site and corporate stakeholders to strenthen planning processes and build strong working relationships.
- Support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of Anaplan, including testing, validation, training and end - user support.
- Partner with finance and operations teams across the business with occasional site travel as required.
As a Senior Business Analyst, the incumbent will also:
- Lead and manage Anaplan implementation, including testing, validation and user adoption
- Lead and deliver training, guidance and ongoing support to finanace and operational teams on Anaplan and planning processes
- Champion continous improvemnets, mainataining strong committment to safety , environmental responsibility and stakeholder engagemenet , with site travel as required
To thrive in this role, you will need.
Experience: Atleast three years and five years of demonstrated experience for the Buisness Analyst and the Senior Business Analyst respectively within finance and business planning, preferably within the mining/resources sector, strong Excel skills, and exposure to Pronto, Anaplan or similar planning systems.
The Senior Business Analyst must have some additional experience or exposure to leading Anaplan or similar planning systems projects rollouts or supporting other large change management processes
Qualifications: Degree qualified with CA/CPA (or equivalent) credentials and a current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence, supported by relevant professional experience.
