Join our dynamic Swim School team as a Swim Instructor and help make a difference in the water! In this role, you’ll lead fun, safe, and engaging Learn to Swim classes for members of all ages and abilities. Our Swim School is a vital part of our operations, and its success is built on a passionate team of skilled, certified, and professional instructors who inspire confidence and enjoyment in every lesson.

Qualifications & Certifications
- AUSTSWIM Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety – Current and valid certification required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – Current and valid certification required.
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Check is required.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational, recreational, or aquatic environment.
- Sound knowledge of Learn to Swim principles, techniques, and instructional methodologies.
- Ability to read, understand, apply, and effectively communicate safety procedures to students and parents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and responsibly in environments where supervision may be limited.
- Deliver fun, engaging, and high-quality Learn to Swim lessons in line with program standards and safety guidelines.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and members to support learning progress and program retention.
- Maintain accurate student records and report progress to ensure clear communication and consistency across the Swim School.
- Ensure a safe and supportive teaching environment by following all safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
- Represent Viva Leisure with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm while promoting our programs and values.
- Maintain current certifications and actively participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills.
- Support the overall success of the Swim School through teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional service
