About the Team
The Reserve Bank of Australia’s Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments and agencies. Our Canberra Branch plays a critical role in delivering these services locally, supporting customers through both digital and traditional banking channels.
As a Bank Officer, you will join a small, collaborative team and report to the Canberra Branch Manager. You will work closely with colleagues across Banking teams, contributing to the delivery of day-to-day banking services and ensuring a high standard of customer support.
About the role

Provide high-quality customer service, including processing daily banking transactions

Support the Help Desk for the RBA’s Online Banking Service and assist customers with enquiries

Maintain internal and customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Perform daily reconciliation processes and reporting activities

Assist with counter and teller services as required

Undertake general administrative duties, including records management

Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential
