About the Role
The Regulatory Response Services Branch plays an important role in ensuring the safety, amenity and wellbeing of the Sunshine Coast community. The branch is responsible for supporting regulatory enforcement activities, compliance functions and customer interactions that contribute to a safe, liveable and sustainable region. Working in this team provides the opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment that directly supports community outcomes and service excellence.
As a Response Services Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative, customer service and operational support across a range of regulatory functions. This role is central to the efficient delivery of infringement management, records administration, stakeholder enquiries and compliance-related activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration, data processing and workload management support for regulatory enforcement activities.
- Deliver professional customer service through front desk, phone and administrative support functions.
- Assist with infringement processing, notices, correspondence reviews and SPER registrations.
- Maintain regulatory registers and support compliance reviews, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you

You have proven experience providing exceptional customer service and can confidently communicate with a wide range of stakeholders through face-to-face, phone and written channels.
Organised and Detail-Oriented
You take pride in accuracy, can manage multiple priorities and consistently follow tasks through to completion while maintaining high standards of quality.

You enjoy working as part of a supportive team, contribute positively to team goals and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to everything you do.
Technology Savvy
You have strong computer and data entry skills, are comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and can quickly learn new systems and processes. Relevant qualifications in business administration, local government or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
