We are currently seeking committed experienced Support Professionals who are full of enthusiasm & beaming with energy, who are exceptional communicators, willing to go the extra mile, have a great understanding of individual supports, who love going on adventures and are passionate in providing dignified support care!
This role provides rostered shifts that ensure stability and the opportunity to provide genuine impact with our clients. We are currently looking for Support Professionals to assist with daily living with participants across the - Goodna Region.

Role Description
-
Assist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life;
- Personal care including continence care, mealtime management, helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, laundry etc.
- Assisting with light housework;
- Providing social support to people with disabilities and people experiencing mental health;
- Assist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to remain independent in their own homes;
- Supporting clients to appointments in the community.
- Providing therapy assistance to support the implementation of physical, speech, OT and psychological plans and strategies (as directed by their allied health teams)
- Supporting people to develop and build self-confidence;
- Reviewing and updating care support plans
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
-
Current QLD Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Compulsory Comprehensive Insurance on private vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Certificate or ability to obtain.
- Complex Behaviour Experience
- Mental Health Experience
- Youth Work Experience
- A working understanding of ASD
- Personal Care Experience
- Currently located around the Birkdale region or happy to drive
