About the Role
As an Administration Office, you'll be responsible for coordinating theatre bookings and surgical waitlists while delivering a broad range of administrative services that support the day-to-day operations of the hospital. Reporting to the Administration Manager, you'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive timely and efficient care.
Your day may include:

Coordinating theatre bookings and managing surgical waitlists.

Providing high-quality customer service via telephone, email and face-to-face interactions.

Processing EFTPOS payments and maintaining accurate administrative records.

Managing correspondence, filing and general office administration.

Supporting other administration team members during periods of leave or increased workload.

Using a range of computer systems to ensure accurate patient information and administrative processes are maintained.
This is a varied role that requires flexibility, organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing
Provide high-quality, efficient, and effective secretarial and administrative support to the managers and staff within the Communicable Diseases, Environmental Health teams and other Health Protection teams as directed.
