Be part of Good Sammy’s Recycling Plant team! This hands-on role involves processing donated goods, operating equipment, and contributing to a safe, productive workplace that makes a positive community impact.

Please note that the roster is from Mondays to Fridays from 7.30am - 3.30pm.

Job Description

What you'll do:

Operate bale press machinery and assist with loading and unloading materials.
Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, safe and organised.
Identify and report equipment, safety or production issues.
Deliver great service to team members, customers and stakeholders.
Work as part of a supportive team to achieve Good Sammy's recycling and sustainability goals.
Contribute ideas to improve processes, safety and efficiency.
Attend team meetings and training sessions.
Take on other duties as needed to support the team.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring;

Forklift licence (preferred).
Ability to handle heavy equipment.
Ability to carry heavy loads (safely).
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Able to multitask and use own initiative.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Great physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive work activities and movements.
