Full Job Description

Sun Agriculture Pty Ltd is an established Quality Agricultural Products retailer based in Wangara Western Australia, in the business of - Seeds, Fertilisers, Irrigation products, Equipment and Crop protection products that help serve and help our local farmers grow.

We are seeking a highly motivated and fast-learning individual to take on a dynamic dual role as Procurement & Administrative Assistant to assist with various tasks and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing the forecast of the products based on historical sale
Identifying the most suitable product alternative based on cost, DOM, Delivery time, etc.
Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
Making sure sufficient level of stock is maintained at all times
Checking different shipment options and making shipment selection based on cost, ETA, and reliability
Placing purchase orders to the suppliers and communicating professionally via email and phone
Managing multiple shipment orders from different suppliers from order placement till delivery and custom clearance
Preparing invoices and other customs documents for clearance ensuring accurate financial documentation.
Handling data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with import, accounting, and sales administration.
Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical files.

Required Skills & Experience:

Excellent English communication (written and spoken)
Advanced organization and project management skills
Strong attention to details
Ability to multitask and to establish internal and external relationships with suppliers
Proficiency in MS Excel and general MS Office applications.
Good numerical skills and ability to work with financial data.
Positive “can-do” attitude and ethical work approach
Willingness to learn, improve and grow with the role
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
