MARKETING SPECIALIST

Position Overview

Fantasy Caravan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, coordinating marketing campaigns, analysing customer trends, and supporting the promotion of the company's caravan and recreational vehicle products throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Research and analyse market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments within the caravan, camping, recreational vehicle, and outdoor leisure sectors.
Conduct market research and collect customer feedback to identify consumer needs, purchasing behaviours, and emerging market opportunities.
Develop, coordinate and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales performance.
Analyse sales data, website traffic, social media engagement, customer enquiries, and campaign performance to evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Assist management in identifying target market segments and developing marketing initiatives for new and existing caravan models.
Coordinate digital marketing activities, including social media campaigns, online advertising, search engine marketing, email marketing, and content creation.
Liaise with advertising agencies, media providers, event organisers, dealerships, and other external stakeholders to support promotional activities.
Organise and promote caravan exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, dealership events, and community engagement activities.
Prepare marketing reports and provide recommendations regarding product positioning, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and customer acquisition initiatives.
Create and publish marketing content for company websites, social media platforms, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional materials.

Skills and Experience

Minimum three years of relevant experience as a Marketing Specialist, Marketing Consultant, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Officer, or a closely related occupation.
Demonstrated experience in market research, marketing campaign development, digital marketing, and customer engagement activities.
Strong analytical, communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Ability to interpret market data and develop practical marketing recommendations.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and marketing analytics tools.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Commerce, Management, or a related field is highly regarded.

Preferred Attributes

Experience within the automotive, recreational vehicle, tourism, outdoor leisure, retail, or related industries will be highly regarded.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and an additional language is highly regarded due to the company's diverse customer base.

Salary

The successful applicant will be offered a full-time position with an annual salary of $85,000 plus statutory superannuation.
