About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy Business Services team. You’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, managing client communications, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring critical deadlines are met. It’s a varied role where you’ll build strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, while gaining exposure to core accounting and corporate administration processes.

Key responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling calls and general enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
Manage ATO correspondence and ensure timely communication with clients via online systems
Track and monitor tax return and BAS lodgements to support workflow and meet deadlines
Liaise with the ATO on administrative matters, including payment arrangements
Maintain accurate client records across systems such as CRM, Xero, Tax Portal and ASIC Portal
Assist with ASIC compliance processes, including annual statements and related documentation
Prepare engagement letters and coordinate document distribution and signing
Provide general administrative support to the team as required

About you

At least 1 year of administration experience, ideally within professional services
Exposure to ASIC administration and/or ATO processes is advantageous
Familiarity with systems such as Xero and CAS 360 is highly regarded
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
A professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills
Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
A team player who is open to learning and contributing positively to the wider team
