Lead a thriving OSHC community at Chapel Hill!

Helping Hands Chapel Hill is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is a permanent, full-time role working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 25 hours of dedicated non‑contact administrative time to support your success.

Potential for promotion to Service Manager in 6 months dependent on service growth!

Service hours include:

Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About Chapel Hill Helping Hands

Chapel Hill Helping Hands welcomes up to 100 children each afternoon in a fun, energetic and nature-inspired environment. The service has a dedicated OSHC space, with access to shared indoor and outdoor areas that encourage exploration and play. Join a friendly, supportive team of both experienced and new educators who are passionate about creating positive experiences for children.

About your new role

As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.
Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

If you have a passion for supporting children, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s what we’re looking for:

Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare industry
National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
Strong communication skills—you’ll be leading by example!
A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.
You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Australian work rights.
