We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialty Operations team supporting our Energy and Power Brokers at Marsh. This role will be based in Brisbane , QLD office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Energy and Power team is a dynamic global team (700 colleagues across Marsh globally) that advises companies and industry in relation to the energy, power, and renewable energy sectors. As a Client Services Specialist you will report directly into the Specialty Operations team leader, but day-to-day work will be predominantly with the Energy and Power brokers in Brisbane and across the country.

We will count on you to:

Consistently use the required IT Applications to maintain compliance, accuracy, and workload, contributing to resource allocation and process improvement.
Ensure timely and accurate production/processing of client transactions including invoices, policy accounting documentation, quotation and placing slips, premium and adjustment calculations, and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.
Draft policy wordings and endorsements.
Support the achievement of high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support to Account Brokers.
Support effective working relationships with clients and insurers as required by the Account Brokers.
Ensure that accurate up-to-date records on all clients are maintained at all times.
Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients.
Possess a thorough working knowledge of relevant insurance legislation including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation, and other relevant legislation.
Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.
Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong administration and organizational skills.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and a fast learner of other computerized systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines through effective time management skills.
Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results and able to work autonomously as well as be a team player.

What makes you stand out:

High School Certificate or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in a Corporate environment
Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry
