Full Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic Casual Food Stall Staff to join our team for the 9-day EKKA Brisbane Show period (Saturday 8 August 2026 – Sunday 16 August 2026) at YumYum Noodle Market.

About the Role

You'll be working in a fast-paced food stall environment, assisting with customer service, food preparation, and daily operations during one of Australia's largest events.

Key Responsibilities

Taking customer orders
Preparing food and beverages
Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Operating the cash register/POS system
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Working efficiently during busy service periods

Requirements

Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Reliable and punctual
Able to work well as part of a team
Available to commit to rostered shifts throughout the Show period

This is a hands-on role suited to people who enjoy working in a busy, energetic environment and can maintain strong customer service, quality, and efficiency during peak service times.
