Full Job Description

Labcabs is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our head office team in a dual Administration/Bookings and Assistant Accounts/Payroll position.

This role is based at Hemmant, QLD 4174, and offers a permanent opportunity within a supportive environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Bookings

Manage incoming calls and customer enquiries
Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
Create and update bookings using Labcabs custom software
Ensure accuracy of booking information and special requirements
Liaise with drivers across all states regarding urgent pickups, booking changes, and queries
Arrange domestic air freight bookings and flight selections
Handle general administrative and customer service tasks

Accounts Payable

Process and verify domestic and international invoices when required.
Manage international payments and banking processes when required.
Track purchases, process payments and reconcile accounts when required.
Assist in improving accounts payable workflows.
Resolve account discrepancies when required.

Accounts Receivable

Allocate and process debtor and credit card payments .
Reconcile domestic and international invoices when required.

About You

You will bring professionalism, accuracy, and a strong customer service ethic to the role. You will also demonstrate:

Previous administration and accounting experience
Strong numerical and data entry capability
Excellent verbal and written communication
High level of time management and organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience with accounting software (MYOB) desireable but not essential.
A confident and professional telephone manner
Ability to learn new systems, including Labcabs’ custom software
A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team
Commitment to following company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Training & Reporting

Full industry specific training provided
Reports directly to the General Manager
Works closely with Operations, Customer Service, and drivers nationwide

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
