About the Role

The Learn to Swim Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality swimming instruction to Swim School students. This role focuses on enhancing water safety awareness, building confidence in and around aquatic environments, and developing students’ swimming technique and skills.

Shifts for this role are generally scheduled from 3:15 PM to 5:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.
Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.
Implementing ground rules for each swim session.
Planning swimming lessons that consider students’ abilities and progressive development.
Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly.
Ensuring that the swimming pool and areas are kept clean and tidy.

To be considered for this role, you should have:
Current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate

Effective communication skills
Current CPR certificate
