Part-Time | Scarborough, Redcliffe Peninsula

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service? We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Administration Assistant to join our friendly and professional Financial Planning practice in Scarborough on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in administration within the financial services industry. You will play an important role in supporting our team, maintaining smooth office operations, and helping us deliver outstanding service to our valued clients.

About the Role

As our Junior Administration Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Practice Manager and broader team while ensuring our clients receive a professional and seamless experience. You will be responsible for a variety of office administration tasks and will become an integral part of our day-to-day operations.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Confirming client appointments
Data entry and maintenance of client records
Scanning, filing, and electronic document management
Assisting with client administration
Processing and tracking documentation and applications
Maintaining accurate records within our practice management systems
Supporting the Practice Manager with administrative tasks and projects
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Ordering and maintaining office stationery and supplies
General office administration duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A professional and friendly phone manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A genuine "client first" approach
Good organisational and time management skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs/Sheets
Previous administration experience (financial planning or professional services experience will be highly regarded)

Full training will be provided in our industry-specific software systems.

Hours

This is a part-time position working:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm

Additional Requirements

A current Police Check will be required prior to commencement.
Australian working rights are essential.
