Pilates, Barre & Movement Instructor

Contractor Position | Sydney

Breathe Movement Studios is growing, and we're looking for passionate, community-focused instructors to join our incredible team.

We're seeking experienced instructors in Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates and Barre who genuinely love helping people move well, build confidence and enjoy being part of a supportive studio community.

At Breathe, we believe our instructors are so much more than class facilitators. They are mentors, motivators and an integral part of each member's wellness journey. We take pride in creating a welcoming, high-quality experience from the moment someone walks through our doors, and we're looking for instructors who share that philosophy.

About the Role

As a Breathe instructor, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional 45-minute classes that align with our programming, coaching standards and member experience.

You'll also:

Prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality 45-minute classes.
Build genuine relationships with members before and after class.
Support members with technique, progression and encouragement.
Be knowledgeable about our memberships, services and studio offerings.
Work collaboratively with our team to maintain the premium experience Breathe is known for.
Contribute positively to our growing studio community.

Desired Qualifications

Essential:

Reformer and/or Mat Pilates qualification.
Current First Aid and CPR.
Public Liability Insurance.

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

Barre teaching experience.
A background in dance, gymnastics or another movement discipline.
Yoga or strength & conditioning qualifications.
Experience teaching multiple movement modalities.

For the right candidate, we also offer in-house training in our signature Breathe Barre method, along with opportunities to continue developing your skills across our movement offerings.
