About you
You are a creative and learner-focused digital learning professional with a passion for designing engaging, accessible and impactful learning experiences.
You enjoy working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning needs and translate complex information into practical, learner-centred solutions that drive capability development and performance. Combining strong instructional design capability with technical expertise, you are confident creating engaging digital content using contemporary learning technologies and multimedia tools.
You are naturally curious, stay up to date with emerging learning trends and technologies, and enjoy exploring innovative approaches to improve learner engagement and learning outcomes. Whether designing interactive eLearning, developing digital assets or leveraging AI-enabled tools, you are focused on creating high-quality learning experiences that make a genuine impact.
Highly organised and collaborative, you are comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, usability and continuous improvement.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager – Learning, Development & Capability, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality and engaging digital learning solutions within the SuccessFactors LMS to support capability development across Babcock Australasia reducing reliance on external providers. This role combines instructional design, digital content development and learning technology expertise to deliver scalable, accessible and cost-effective internal learning experiences.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will play a key role in modernising learning delivery, increasing access to learning and supporting the ongoing uplift of workforce capability through innovative learner-centric solutions.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing engaging digital learning solutions aligned to organisational capability and learning needs
Developing interactive eLearning modules, assessments, job aids, learner guides and digital learning resources
Developing multimedia learning assets including video, animation, graphics, simulations and interactive content
Identifying opportunities to improve learning effectiveness, learner engagement and accessibility through digital solutions
Conducting quality assurance, testing and continuous improvement activities across digital learning solutions and technologies
To be successful you will:
Have a passion for creating engaging learning experience and improving capability through innovative digital learning solutions
Hold a qualification in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Multimedia Design, Digital Learning, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Have demonstrated hands on experience building end to end digital learning solutions using Articulate Storyline or Rise, Vyond and/or Synthesia.
Have experience packaging and testing SCORM/xAPI content for LMS deployment (preferably SuccessFactors)
Understand accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and how to apply them in digital learning design
