Part -Time 0.6 EFT | 3 days per week onsite | Ongoing contract of employment.

PW7 $97,971 - $107,908 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).

The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) supports Holmesglen’s Faculties and teams with expertise in curriculum management, learning design and professional development. The Educational Resources and Support Unit develops high-quality digital and print learning resources, working with teaching teams to create engaging and innovative learning experiences.
As our E-Learning and Instructional Designer, you will work with the Instructional Design Manager, subject matter experts and teaching teams to create accessible, compliant and multimedia-rich resources for online, blended and print delivery. Applying contemporary instructional design practices, including the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence, you will enhance digital learning platforms, support Senior Secondary, VET and Higher Education programs, and contribute to continuous improvement in digital learning.
As an E- Learning and Instructional Design officer you will:

Design, write and review high-quality, compliant and accessible learning resources for online, digital and print delivery.

Collaborate with instructional designers, project managers and teaching teams to develop engaging, learner-centred educational materials.

Support staff and students in the effective use and administration of online learning platforms and the LMS.

Contribute to project coordination, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of key milestones and outcomes.

Develop and deliver professional development initiatives to strengthen digital capability and enhance teaching and learning practices.
To be successful, you’ll have:

Tertiary qualification in adult education or a related field; TAE40122 and/or instructional design qualifications highly desirable.

Strong instructional design experience across online, blended and print learning, with knowledge of assessment, compliance and diverse learners.

Proficiency in learning technologies, digital tools and LMS platforms to create accessible, high-quality learning resources.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a service-focused approach and ability to build strong relationships.

Flexible, innovative and outcome-focused, with strong time management, adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
