Full Job Description

We are currently seeking reliable and professional Retail Security Officers to join our team in Bendigo, Victoria. This is a casual role offering approximately 15–30 hours per week, with shifts available across weekdays and weekends.

The successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure retail environment, providing a visible security presence, assisting with loss prevention, and delivering a high level of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional and visible security presence within the retail environment
Monitor customer activity and assist with loss prevention
Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas as required
Manage entry and exit points where required
Assist with bag checks and receipt checks in accordance with client procedures
Respond professionally to incidents, hazards, or customer-related issues
Report any suspicious behaviour, incidents, or safety concerns
Liaise with store management, staff, and emergency services when required
Complete incident reports and daily shift reports as required
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times

To Be Successful, You Must Have

A current Victorian Security Licence
Previous retail security, loss prevention, or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Strong observation skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
Full working rights in Australia
