About the Role
We are a well-established Bakers Delight franchise looking for a Qualified/Experienced Baker to join our Balmain team. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, suited to someone who leads by example, takes pride in their work, and delivers consistent quality every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Mixing, shaping, and baking products to Bakers Delight standards
- Managing production to meet daily demand in a fast-paced environment
- Leading by example and supporting junior team members
- Training and mentoring apprentices and staff
- Maintaining product quality, consistency, and presentation
- Ensuring strict food safety and hygiene compliance
- Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas to a high standard
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
About You
- Qualified/Experienced Baker (Cert III in Baking or equivalent desired but not essential)
- Experience in a high-volume or franchise bakery environment
- Ability to work early starts (varies 12am–10am), weekends, and public holidays
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and thrives under pressure
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
