Full Job Description

Our dedicated and enthusiastic team is looking for a casual Dental Assistant cum Receptionist to join us at Shellharbour Road Dentists.

This is an integral dual role where you will support our clinicians in providing high-quality, passionate care while ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations—both chairside and at the front desk.

Availability Required:

Fridays (plus other days as and when required)

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist during examinations and clinical procedures.
Sterilising instruments, maintaining equipment, and prepping treatment rooms.
Reception & Admin (As and when required): Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing records, and processing payments. (Full training will be provided for the reception side of the role!)

What We Are Looking For:

6+ months of experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist (or similar medical/healthcare role) is highly preferred. We are happy to provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals with no prior dental experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional manner.
High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
Proficient computer skills. Experience with dental software is preferred but not essential, as we will provide training (familiarity with Dentally is a bonus).
