WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Visual Merchandising Manager - AUNZ, you drive the visual strategy for the Sales Market, ensuring an inspiring and commercially strong customer experience through clear priorities, standards, and execution routines. You lead and develop VM teams while securing consistent implementation, strong store activation, and close collaboration across functions.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure an inspiring Customer experience within physical stores focusing on Window, Styling and Product elevation and excellence to deliver on Brand expectations.
Define and drive a clear and strategic VM agenda within the Sales Market by setting relevant priorities and actions aligned with the global VM direction.
Secure an elevated, competitive and convenient customer experience by implementing the latest visual standards, seasonal and product presentation principles, customer groups updates and overall display and material based on store clusters.
Ensure consistent implementation of visual and commercial standards and elevated Customer experience aligned with global guidelines.
Secure execution of store activation plan providing direction to Areas and Store for them to adapt if needed in close collaboration with commercial functions and oversee budget prioritization together with Material Lead and Marketing team.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Visual Project Leads to secure a clear workload and priorities and planning aligned with store projects and commercial layouts based on customer groups updates.
Lead and educate VM teams to be solution-oriented about how to optimize the visual and product presentation information based on actual stock availability to drive salesmanship in store while staying within the overall Brand direction.
Coach and develop SM, Area & Stores teams with a consistent follow, regular store visits, feedback, and regular performance follow-up to deliver the expected outcome in line with the VM Agenda and VM Global direction.
Lead, coach and secure performing and skilled VM teams with updated fashion and visual knowledge, trends and tendency understanding and commercial competence. Provide teams with routines, best practice and upskilling to secure visual and commercial excellence outcome in Sales Market.
Build and sustain a strong VM talent pipeline through active coaching, feedback, succession planning, and leadership development to secure long-term capability and performance.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Reporting into the General Manager AUNZ, you will work in close partnership with Sales and Area teams to deliver a consistent and commercially strong customer experience across 40 stores. You will also collaborate with Visual Projects to deliver a range of planned initiatives within the market, while partnering with HR to identify and develop talent within the Visual function
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with:
Previous experience in leadership roles in Visual function; Support Office, Regional or Global teams
Extensive visual and commercial knowledge within the fashion industry as well as expert level in trend awareness and fashion knowledge.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead teams through effective communication, clear prioritization, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.
Exceptional knowledge of physical store identity, global visual strategies, and regional visual and commercial goals linked to assortment, ways of working, and methods.
Excellent product presentation, styling, and commercial skills, supported by strong visual operational routines rooted in best practice.
Strong knowledge about physical store identity, updated on latest visual strategies and commercial goals linked to assortment and customer groups.
Ability to inspire, educate, and support Area and Store teams with campaign execution, seasonal focus, commercial priorities, and the delivery of overall visual standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders.
Proven results in identifying and developing future visual talent and driving visual team engagement.
A self‑motivated, solutions‑focused leader with proven commercial capability.
