Beacon Bliss is a family-owned disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people living with disability across Ballarat. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's individual needs, goals, and preferences. No two days are the same, with a variety of shifts available including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
Supporting participants to access their community, appointments, and social activities.
Assisting with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and household routines.
Administering medications in accordance with training and organisational policies.
Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation.
Working collaboratively with participants, families, and the wider support team.

About You

You are a caring, professional, and dependable support worker who is committed to delivering high-quality care and building positive relationships with participants.

Essential Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Disability, Community Services, or another relevant qualification.
Current Medication Administration Certificate/Competency.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current National Police Check.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
Reliable, roadworthy, and fully insured vehicle.
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain if required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
