Full Job Description

Your new role:
In this role, you will provide nursing care within the Central Sterilisation Department, ensuring reusable medical devices are reprocessed safely and in line with national standards. You'll work collaboratively within a specialised nursing team and may take on team leader responsibilities as required.

You will:
Perform reprocessing of reusable medical devices in line with AS 5369 standards
Undertake decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging and steril+F2:I2isation duties
Support loan instrument coordination and workload management
Participate in handover, shift planning and team leadership activities
Contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives

About you:
You are a Registered Nurse who values precision, teamwork and patient safety, with an interest in perioperative and sterilisation services.

You will bring:
Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience or interest in sterilisation or perioperative environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to best-practice standards
Ability to work autonomously and within a team-based roster
Willingness to work varied shifts across a 7-day service
