Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse on Ward 5A, you will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based care. You will have the opportunity to further develop your clinical knowledge and skills within a busy Cardiology and General Medical environment.
Provide person-centred nursing care to patients with a range of cardiac and general medical conditions.
Work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
Utilise clinical knowledge and skills to recognise changes in patient condition, escalate concerns and support safe clinical outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvement, professional development, health education and a positive team culture.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
Medication endorsement is essential for this position.
Demonstrated or developing clinical knowledge and skills relevant to cardiac and general medical nursing.
Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centred and evidence-based care.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
