About the role
The Microsoft Azure Principal Architect is responsible for Fujitsu's Oceania Microsoft Azure revenue and growth, leads the Microsoft Azure practice and works with the business and partners to ensure the organization has the capability to deliver on customer outcomes.
This role develops technical strategies, supports pre-sales and professional services, and builds a strong pipeline of opportunities by collaborating with customers, sales, and the broader market to position Fujitsu as a leading Microsoft Azure integrator.
Additionally, the Principal Architect works with the Fujitsu Alliances team to foster a productive partnership with Microsoft, acts as a trusted advisor to customers, and provides direction on solution design.
The role shares industry knowledge, contextualizes solutions, delivers paid consultancies, and maintains awareness of Microsoft Azure and Fujitsu technology trends, all while adhering to service delivery processes.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Accountable for meeting Microsoft Azure-aligned revenue targets and business growth.
- Lead a squad of Microsoft Azure professionals in pre-sales and professional services delivery. Build a cohesive Microsoft Azure capability ecosystem across Fujitsu.
- Collaborate proactively with customers, market stakeholders, and Fujitsu teams to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Develops compelling partner aligned Fujitsu solutions that are valued by the market and drive Fujitsu's growth in market

Foster a productive partnership with Microsoft to drive sustainable business growth.
- Shape customers' strategic plans, technology requirements, and business cases.
- Communicate the impacts and opportunities of Microsoft Azure technologies to customers. Share insights on Microsoft Azure offerings and their alignment with business strategies.
- Guide design teams on customer and industry-specific requirements. Set high-level criteria for solution design.
- Contribute to the Fujitsu knowledge base by sharing industry and technology insights.
- Deliver paid design consultancies to Fujitsu clients.
Requirements and Experience

10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Microsoft Azure architecture and engineering roles.

Experience designing, building, and managing secure, scalable, and resilient Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework, Control Tower, Landing Zones, and cost optimization strategies.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure partner programs and co-sell alignment.
- Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and team management.
