Your impact
As a key member of the Maintenance team, reporting to the Conveyor Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining the reliability and performance of conveyor belt scraper systems across the operation.
Your work will directly support safe and efficient production through high‑quality inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs. You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with site standards and procedures, contributing to reliable conveyor performance and safe production outcomes.
As part of our team you will

Perform maintenance, installation, repair and servicing of conveyor belt scrapers and associated components

Conduct routine quality checks and inspections of conveyor belts to identify faults, wear and damage

Inspect, service, adjust and replace scraper blades and related equipment

Identify, report and rectify defects to ensure equipment meets required standards

Provide technical advice and hands‑on input into improvement initiatives to enhance conveyor performance

Support planned maintenance and shutdown activities, working collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality and procedural requirements
Prerequisites for your success in the role
- Prior experience as a Conveyor Scraper Technician, Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally within a mining or heavy industrial environment

Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems and associated components, including belt cleaners, skirting systems and belt tracking

Proven experience performing routine inspections and completing maintenance reports

Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, solutions‑focused approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality outcomes

Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications

High Risk Work Licence – Dogging, Rigging and Forklift

Current C Class and HR driver’s licence
Your work environment
This role is based at Boddington Gold Mine and operates on a 5/2, 4/3 roster, offering long‑term stability within a large‑scale operation. You’ll be part of a high‑performing processing maintenance team in a technically complex gold operation that places strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
You may choose to live locally and commute daily, or, if based outside the local area, stay in Village accommodation for your roster under a DIDO arrangement
