What You will Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems & mechanical drives
- Respond to breakdowns and get systems back online quickly and safely
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Clear faults, jams, and maintain optimal system performance
- Use CMMS (MEX) to track maintenance activities and reporting
- Monitor SCADA systems and identify performance issues
- Work collaboratively with technicians and operations teams to ensure smooth shift Handovers.
What You Bring
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Experience in automated systems, conveyors, or high-speed production environments
- Strong skills in fault finding, diagnostics & mechanical repairs
- Knowledge of gearboxes, belts, pneumatics, hydraulics
- Confidence working with systems and basic computer tools (CMMS, Excel)
- A proactive, team-focused mindset with a strong safety-first attitude.
Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to SCADA systems
- Restricted Electrical License (Connect/Disconnect)
- Ability to read schematics or control logic
- Experience in freight, logistics, or sortation environments
- Welding experience.
