As we continue to expand our domestic and export footprint, we are seeking an agile, commercially minded, and purpose-driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This pivotal role reports directly to the Executive Business Manager and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, values-driven organisation with strong growth ambitions across retail, export, and cross-border channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and implement 360° marketing strategies aligned with company objectives across digital, retail, foodservice, export, and cross-border e-commerce channels.
- Lead seasonal, product-specific, and market-specific campaigns, ensuring compelling brand storytelling, clear value propositions, and consistent messaging across all consumer and trade touchpoints.
- Partner with product development, export, commercial, and sales teams to deliver effective go-to-market plans for new product launches, new market entry, and key account activation.
- Support brand positioning across domestic and international markets, ensuring messaging is culturally relevant, commercially effective, and aligned with King International’s premium plant-based proposition.
Digital, E-Commerce & Contractor Oversight
- Manage and guide external digital marketing contractors to deliver strong outcomes across SEO, SEM, paid advertising, social media, content creation, and campaign optimisation.
- Support cross-border e-commerce initiatives, including platform content, online product listings, digital promotions, marketplace campaigns, and brand visibility across export markets.
- Assist with the development and optimisation of e-commerce assets, including product descriptions, digital banners, lifestyle imagery, campaign copy, and translated or localised content where required.
- Supervise field marketing execution by merchandising contractors to ensure strong in-store brand visibility, retail compliance, and effective point-of-sale activation.
- Evaluate the performance of outsourced partners to ensure marketing investment delivers cost-effective, measurable, and high-impact outcomes.
Customer, Trade & Export Engagement
- Own and manage the CRM system, maintaining accurate customer records, tracking customer journey touchpoints, and supporting B2B engagement, lead nurturing, and account development.
- Coordinate trade show marketing, export promotions, product sampling, customer presentations, and POS materials in collaboration with export and sales teams.
- Lead the preparation of sales decks, brochures, brand kits, product catalogues, and customer presentations for domestic retailers, distributors, foodservice customers, and international buyers.
- Support communication with export partners, distributors, agencies, and key stakeholders across international markets.
- Assist with multilingual marketing materials, product presentations, and market-specific content to support export growth and cross-cultural customer engagement.
Performance, Insights & Market Intelligence
- Analyse campaign metrics and prepare monthly marketing performance reports with clear insights, recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct competitor, consumer, retail, and export market analysis to identify emerging trends, category opportunities, pricing insights, and customer behaviour.
- Monitor digital, social, retail, and cross-border e-commerce performance to support continuous improvement and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and deliver consistency across all marketing, sales, export, and customer-facing touchpoints.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, or similar role, preferably within FMCG, health food, plant-based food, retail, export, or consumer goods industries.
- Proven experience in digital marketing strategy, campaign execution, content planning, and contractor or vendor management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, B2B customer engagement, and customer database management.
- Experience in cross-border e-commerce, online marketplace marketing, export-focused digital campaigns, or international digital trade platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for both consumer and trade audiences.
- Linguistic capability in Mandarin, Cantonese, or another relevant export-market language is highly regarded, particularly for supporting international marketing, distributor communication, cross-border e-commerce content, and market localisation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns, stakeholders, agencies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Graphic design capability using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WPS, or similar platforms is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine interest in sustainability, wellness, plant-based food innovation, and international market growth is highly regarded.
