About the role

We are seeking an experienced hands on Warehouse Manager to join our team at Miami Stainless in beautiful Burleigh, Gold Coast. This is a full-time Mon – Fri role responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse facility. As Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, optimising inventory management, and driving continuous improvement across our warehousing operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage, participate and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
Develop and implement best-practice warehousing processes and procedures to maximise productivity and accuracy
Manage and lead a small warehouse team
Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with the sales, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control measures
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior warehousing role
Strong knowledge of warehousing best practices, inventory management, and logistics operations
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Current forklift licence (mandatory)
Physically fit, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Experience in the industry would be highly regarded, however not essential
Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
Valid Australian driver’s licence essential
Computer/data entry skills
Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and data analysis tools (Netsuite an advantage)
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehousing industry
