About the Role
Are you wanting to complete your internship in regional Victoria, and cement the great skills you've gained through your study? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Two exciting temporary part-time positions are available in Wodonga, each working 60.8 hours per fortnight through to 30 June 2027. Working with the Gateway Health Head to Health Hub team to provide high quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to people experiencing significant distress. Using a client centred, recovery oriented framework, the Wellness Practitioner will undertake assessments and deliver evidence based psychological interventions, either individually or in a group setting, to support people to achieve an improved state of wellness.
This role is classified under the Victorian Community Health Sector (Audiologists Dietitians Pharmacists and Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026 Grade 1 or 2 dependent on experience ($46.42 - $58.06 + superannuation).
Skills & Experience
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology and current registration with AHPRA Psychology Board.
- Minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in the Mental Health sector, working with individuals experiencing psychological distress or complex needs.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
