Full Job Description

Slade Plumbing Services is seeking a motivated, experienced and reliable qualified plumber to join our growing South Australian team.

Based in Adelaide, we specialise in residential, commercial and maintenance plumbing across the Adelaide metropolitan area and regional South Australia. Our work includes maintenance plumbing, renovations, extensions, drainage, hot water, gas fitting and backflow prevention.

We are looking for a plumber who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with customers and can work independently while representing our business professionally on site.

About the Role

You will be undertaking a range of plumbing works including:

Residential plumbing maintenance and repairs
Commercial maintenance plumbing
Renovations and extensions
Hot water service replacements and repairs
Drainage and stormwater repairs
Gas fitting and gas appliance installations
CCTV drain inspections and fault finding
Backflow prevention testing and servicing
Emergency and reactive maintenance work
Occasional regional and country work

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current SA Plumbing Worker Registration and/or Contractor Licence
Relevant plumbing industry experience
Current Driver’s Licence
White Card
Working With Children Check and Aged Care (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
Experience completing JSEAs, SWMS and site pre-start documentation
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

Gas fitting experience
Backflow prevention accreditation
Excavator or machinery operating experience
Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices
