About the Role
As a Casual Commis Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining strong kitchen standards during service.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting daily kitchen operations and assisting the Head Chef
· Preparing and delivering high-quality meals in line with venue standards
· Following recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency across all dishes
· Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
· Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
· Working collaboratively within a team-focused kitchen culture
· Performing well under pressure during busy service periods
About You
You’re a motivated and dependable team player who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a positive kitchen environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
· Previous experience in a similar role, or a cook ready to step up
· A genuine passion for food and hospitality
· Strong work ethic and reliability
· Ability to stay calm and consistent under pressure
· Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Flexibility to work casual hours across a 7-day roster
