What you'll be doing

Locate medical records from coordination and retrieval teams
-
Prepping, scanning and indexing of NETS medical record
-
Quality checking of documents after scanning
-
File medical record securely for destruction
-
Data entry
-
Action Medico-legal requests, including retrieve voice recordings and typing transcripts of calls

Assist in preparing correspondence, documents and reports

Provide efficient and professional duties in person and on the telephone

Other duties as required, relevant to / consistent with the classification

Experience with patient information / records and Patient Administration Systems with a proven accuracy and attention to detail

Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality requirements of patient information

Comprehensive experience in an administrative role

Demonstrated experience in the use of Information Systems, Internet based Applications and Databases, with a high level of computer skills using Microsoft packages (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel)

Demonstrated experience in prioritisation of duties and meeting required deadlines
-
Highly developed organisational skills and ability to work both independently and within a team

Demonstrated capacity to work with minimal supervision yet work effectively in a team environment
