DR Dental South Yarra

Part-Time | 2-3 Days per Week | Enjoy a 4-Day Weekend Every Week

Roster: Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30am-5:30pm, with the opportunity to work Thursdays 9:30am-7:30pm

The Role

This is a chairside dental assisting role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quality-focused clinical environment and providing outstanding support to both patients and clinicians.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms before each appointment
Maintaining exceptional infection control standards
Sterilising instruments in accordance with current guidelines
Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation using Dental4Windows
Supporting patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey
Assisting with digital photography and other clinical procedures as required
Ensuring surgeries are well stocked and prepared for each day
Working collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

About You

We're looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoys caring for patients.

Ideally, you'll have:

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organisational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail
The ability to multitask while remaining calm in a busy environment
A positive, proactive attitude, and willingness to support the team wherever needed
Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded
Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years' dental assisting experience
