About the Role
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment a patient contacts the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
- Managing appointments and patient enquiries
- Coordinating treatment bookings and patient communications
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting clinicians and the broader practice team
- Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships, stays calm under pressure and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with people.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare environment
- Knowledge of HICAPS, Medicare and DVA claiming
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W) will be highly regarded
- A professional, polished and approachable manner
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
