How you'll make an impact

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology future of AMP’s Superannuation & Investments business, defining and executing a clear technology strategy and architectural vision that aligns with enterprise priorities. Acting as the senior architectural authority, you will guide platform and application modernisation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to regulatory and risk requirements while reducing complexity across the business unit.

Working closely with Technology, Product and Delivery leaders, you’ll enable a more efficient, product-led delivery model by embedding sound architectural practices and driving roadmap execution. Your ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate a compelling vision will be critical in securing funding, accelerating modernisation initiatives, and embedding AI-driven innovation. Ultimately, your leadership will improve platform stability, enhance delivery speed, and unlock better customer and business outcomes across AMP’s Super and Investments portfolio

What you'll bring to the role

You are an experienced technology leader with a proven track record in shaping enterprise architecture and delivering large-scale transformation in complex environments. You bring deep expertise across modern architecture principles, including cloud-native platforms, microservices, API-led design and increasingly, AI-driven automation.

Beyond technical depth, you are a strategic thinker who can engage and influence executive stakeholders, translating business objectives into practical, scalable technology solutions. You have strong commercial and industry awareness, ideally within financial services or investment platforms, and are comfortable navigating regulatory and risk frameworks. Your pragmatic approach to architecture, combined with strong communication and collaboration skills, enables you to balance innovation with governance while driving tangible delivery outcomes
